The power plant has installed capacity of 189 MW with an electricity production target of 652,5 GWh. When the protective embankments on the right and left shore of the reservoir for this electrical power generating dam were built, the 336-meter level of the lake was raised to an operational level of 340 meters. The purpose was to protect the residential area and 433 hectares of farmland below the lake. The project was completed by a consortium including Yüksel İnşaat A.Ş.
