Work completed in this project included, the extention of existing breakwater by 650 m., reclamation of 100,000 m² by filling the sea and the pier construction of 1,500 m. Within the scope of this project, 2,400,000 tons of rockfill, 150,000 m³ of concrete block works for pier walls, 81,450 m² of concrete paving works were materialized. As a result of these works, 4 m. deep and 250 m. long pier wall, 5.5 m. deep 2 berths for ro-ro boats with connection to rail system, 6 m. deep and 60 m. long, 10 m. deep and 645 m. long,12 m. deep and 300 m. long and 8 m. deep and 220 m. long quay walls were constructed.
