The turn-key project contract aimed to enable the production of sugar with a capacity of processing 3,000 tons of sugar beet per day. Being the first sugar factory in Uzbekistan, the plant also is the first implementation of a sugar factory of Turkish firms abroad. The fully automated plant is built by the consortium of “Türk Şeker-Yüksel Construction Co.,Inc.”, where Yüksel was the consortium’s administrative leader. It is the first sugar factory construction built by Turkish companies using their own technology and know-how.

Yüksel Construction realized a total construction work of 21,500 sqm by covering the entire infrastructure, building, steel construction and all necessary machinery and equipment installation. The technological design, know- how and factory tests and similar services were conducted under the leadership of the consortium leader. In the construction and installation of this turn-key delivery project, 3,000 tons of steel construction, 5,600 tons of equipment installation, 850 tons of piping installation and 500 tons of electrical equipment applications were utilized.
