The project covers the expansion of 45 km. road (38 km. 2 x 2; 7 km. 1 x 2) between Samsun and Ordu provinces in the Black Sea Region including the construction of civil works, sub-base, mechanic stabilization base, concrete asphalting and bridges. An additional contract in 1998 was also awarded to Yüksel to construct a 64 km. road (33 km. 2 x 2; 31 km. 1 x 2) improvement. In both projects; 3,612,000 m³ of earth works, 58,000 m³ of concrete, 210 m. long 7 bridges, 770,000 tons of sub-base, 820,000 tons of mechanic stabilization base and 647,000 tons of hot bituminous asphalt works were realized.
