Murwani Dam which is located at the 100 km. northeast of Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia and 27 km. east of Khulays town, is planned for construction to maintain flood control and to feed underground water. Impermeability will be provided by using asphalt core at the rock fill type dam. Construction of 3.5 km. road, which will provide the transportation to the construction site area, is also in the scope of the project.
