Ünye-Piraziz Road Construction Project is located inside the borders of State Highways Samsun District Management. The road improvement construction starts location km on 81+600 and ends at the location km 158+000.In besides the road between Persembe - Bolaman where starts on Km 33+500 and finishes at the location 37+781 also stays inside this project.

This project is under yhe scope of the Project of Black Sea Coast Road Construction Project.The purpose of this project is improving the traffic circulation between Ünye - Piraziz, introduction the agricultural and industrial products of the district and for easy marketing to inside and outside markets and improving the traffic safety. This project includes 8 unit river bridge total length 320mt. And 23 unit level crossing intersection. Total diverted road length is 33760 m , 31500 m is with in state road standart 1-A, trafic line width is 3.5mt,verge of road width is 3 mt, road diversification verge width is 4mt, road platform width is 27 - 34 mt max.Logitutinal slope is %4.07 and min curb diameter is R603. The road section layers are designed as follows : Top layers of the road sections are 5 cm wear layer, 7 cm binder. Bottom layers are 20 cm bottom level foundation, 20 cm plentmix foundation and 12 cm bituminous foundation on plentmix foundation layer. Up to this date 22,4 km road construction of the project was completed including with binder layer and 55,7 % was realized financially.
