Kadıköy-Kartal Metro Project undertaken by the Joint Venture of Yapı Merkezi-Doğuş-Yüksel-Yenigün-Belen is 21.7 km-long and starts form Kadıköy Square Rıhtım Avenue and follows İbrahimağa Avenue and reaches E-5 highway at Koşuyolu locality and runs parallel to this road corridor and terminates at Kartal locality. The route is on a very dense built-up corridor in particularly Kadıköy zone where settlement and business centers are located, while in the other sections it is on a corridor where relatively dense traffic, intersection structures and overpasses, settlement and commercial buildings are located.
