The project, which is executing by the joint venture of Yüksel Insaat A.S. and local MIDMAC company consists of a 740 long cut-and-cover tunnel, one main crossroad bridge with three spans, an interchange bridge with two spans, 980 m retaining wall, road works about 5 km in length, infrastructure transmissions such as; drainage, water, sewerage, electricity, telephony, gas, etc., demolition works of 22 buildings in total, site preparation and landscaping works.
The Contracting Authority is the NDIA Steering Committee which is composed of representatives of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and the representatives of OBI. The consultancy-engineering company is the Greek Salfo Engineering.
