This turn-key project is the first sugar factory in Uzbekistan. The factory, being the first sugar factory constructed abroad with Turkey’s own know-how, is able to process 3,000 tons of sugar beets per day. The scope of works includes the construction of a 21,500 m2 factory incuding the infrastructural works, building works, the steel structure as well as the installation of 5,600 tons of process equipment, 850 tons of pipings and 500 tons of electrical equipment. The project was realized by the Consortium of Yüksel İnşaat A.Ş. and Türk Şeker (as the technology provider).
